Out Loud Colorado Springs Men's Chorus

Out Loud began in the fall of 2005 with ten singers in First Congregational Church in Colorado Springs. The ten had gathered together to sing simply just for fun, but little did they know that they were the start of something that would become a safe haven for LGBTQIA men from around the state. As time went on, the chorus had their first concert in spring of 2006 and later the chorus grew and began participating in First Congregational's holiday celebrations which later turned into an annual concert. Out Loud has put on many shows during their 18 years such as, "A Holiday Homecoming", "50 Shades of Gay", "A Midwinter Mitzvah",

"A Night On Broadway" just to name a few.

Out Loud still to this day is a safe space for LGBTQIA people in the state of Colorado, after gaining new found popularity since returning to performing in December of 2022. Out Loud is grateful for the many directors, musicians, volunteers, council members and chorus members throughout the years for keeping hope and love alive for our community, and now as we move forward in a new world, our hope is to spread that love even further so all may know that

Out Loud is a space where they can thrive and express themselves in a big way!

Out Loud is a member of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA), an association that represents members of choruses around the world making our voices heard.  Every four years a gathering is held and 2024 is our year to be in Minneapolis Minnesota.  It has been eight years since the last GALA in 2016 in Denver, CO.  We will be having many events and projects to earn funds to attend.  Your donations to Out Loud will help us represent the Chorus at GALA as well as help us continue making our voices heard here in Colorado.

Out Loud rehearses on Monday evening from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at

First Congregational Church (20 E. Saint Vrain Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903).
