OUR STORY
Out Loud Celebrating 10 Years!
2006-2016
Out Loud Colorado Springs Men's Chorus was formed in 2006 by 21 founding members with one common goal: to use the deep and enriching power of music as a means of fellowship, and as a vehicle to reach out to our local LGBT in the community. We strive to act as goodwill ambassadors in presenting a positive image of the LGBT population in the Pikes Peak region. Out Loud is a community chorus made up of auditioned volunteers, and all music performed is memorized. We strive to elevate our artistic expression and provide a unique and entertaining experience for our audience. Out Loud produces two concerts a year, holiday and spring, as well as performing several community outreach events each year. The chorus is especially thankful for the members and staff of First Congregational Church--our home for rehearsals, and the location of many of our concerts. Since our founding, their generosity and support has been instrumental in our success.
Out Loud rehearses most weeks on Monday evening from 6:45 - 9:45 PM at First Congregational Church (20 E. Saint Vrain Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903). All are welcomed to attend any of our rehearsals to share in the Out Loud experience – just email info@outloudcsmc.com to confirm rehearsal times.
Voices of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to audition. If you are interested, please email info@outloudcsmc.com
